Iran, Hungary sign two economic agreements

Ministers of economy of Iran and Hungary signed two economic agreements.

(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- An agreement to encourage and support investment was signed by the Iranian Minister of Economy and his Hungarian counterpart.

A partnership and investment agreement was signed in the fields of agriculture and agro-industry between the two economic groups, Nicka Basir Payam and the LAC Holding.

On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Massoud Karbassian said: Hungary is a member of the European Union and the signing of these agreements will help improve the investment and economic environment of the two countries.

He stressed that these agreements provide a certainty to reduce the risk of investment.

It should be noted that yesterday another cooperation agreement was signed between IKARUS and Iran’s City Industries and Mines Development Group with the presence of Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Masoud Karbassian, and Hungarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Mihaly Varga.
