Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance who is in South Korea to attend Asia Infrastructure Summit 2017 met with India’s Finance Minister yesterday.
(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- In the meeting, Ali Tayyebnia and Arun Jaitley discussed how to facilitate the use of credit lines between the two countries.
The two sides agreed on the need to speed up implementing the relevant measures and decided to use the resources for Chabahar-Zahedan-Mashhad-Chabahar port railway.
Given the interest of Iran and India in developing Chabahar port, it was decided to remove barriers for the participation of the two countries’ private sector in the port via using India’s financial resources.
The two countries also agreed to cooperate on transferring Iran’s money.
At the end of the meeting, Iran's Economy Minister invited India’s Finance Minister to visit Iran.
