General policies of Resistance Economy, common basis to solve economic problems

Today strengthening the economy has become a major and common axis for the integration of various economic pillars, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance stated.

(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- The general policies of Resistance Economy which are set with a deep and correct understanding of the country's economic problems, have become a common basis for creating a unique understanding to solve Iran's economic problems, Ali Tayyebnia said.

Pointing to the structural problems of the economy, including its dependence on oil and state, Tayyebnia stated: In the eight years leading up to 1392, despite more than 800 billion dollars of oil revenues, we saw average growth of 2.2 percent, which suggests that money does not bring growth, and inappropriate practices and policies in using resources, even in the enjoyment of revenues, can also cause severe problems.
