Iran attracts $12 billion foreign investment

Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran said the country attracted $12 billion foreign investment in 1395 (March 2016-2017).

In the post-JCPOA era, so far we have signed agreements worth $50 billion to attract financing, he added.

The Investment Service Center was launched in 1389 and during the eleventh government it managed to attract $450 million foreign investment.

Major foreign investments in Markazi Province are in the field of chemical and petrochemical industries, steel, construction, food and mining.
